Little Chefs Club is a fun, hands-on cooking experience where young chefs attend class with a caregiver (parent, grandparent, or nanny) to learn cooking and baking basics together. Each class includes all ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment needed to whip up something delicious.
Little chefs will practice simple kitchen skills, learn how to cook clean, wash dishes, set the table, and help with cleanup. Best of all, they’ll proudly share and enjoy their creations with friends and their grown-up at the end of class.

Junior Chefs Club is a hands-on cooking class where kids learn the basics of cooking and baking in a fun, supportive environment. Each class includes all the ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment needed to create something delicious from start to finish.
Junior chefs will practice essential kitchen skills, learn the importance of cooking clean, washing dishes, setting the table, and helping with cleanup. At the end of class, they’ll proudly share and enjoy their creations with friends.

From April 6–10, Springtime Chefs Club is a fun, interactive cooking camp designed to keep kids engaged while parents enjoy a few quiet hours at home or get work done. This 4-hour camp blends hands-on cooking and baking with creative and social activities throughout the day.
Chefs will prepare and enjoy delicious recipes in class, then take breaks for arts and crafts, board games with friends, and other fun activities to keep them busy and inspired. It’s the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and fun in a welcoming kitchen environment.
Classes are located at The Outpost Clubhouse at 92 Sendero Way, Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694.
No cooking experience is required. We’ll teach them the skills they need and guide them throughout each class.
We will email all participants a calendar of upcoming classes along with the menu for each day. Students will receive a copy of the recipe during class.
In our cooking and baking classes, students build a strong foundation in essential culinary skills they can use in any kitchen. Through hands-on lessons, they’ll learn how to measure ingredients accurately, read and follow recipes, practice safe knife techniques, and understand key cooking methods like sautéing, mixing, boiling, and baking. They’ll also develop skills in dough handling, proper mixing techniques, seasoning, and kitchen safety.
These fundamentals are the building blocks of culinary arts, giving students the confidence to recreate class recipes at home and apply their new techniques to many more dishes in the future.
Students with shoulder-length hair or longer should bring a hair tie. They should also bring a pen or pencil for notes, though we’ll have extras available. Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required for safety. Aprons will be provided for use during class.
Our classes regularly use common allergens such as wheat flour, eggs, milk, butter, and other ingredients that may cause reactions. Because of the shared tools, surfaces, and hands-on nature of our cooking activities, we are unable to accommodate students with severe food allergies.
If your student has a food allergy, please contact the instructor before registering to determine whether the class is a safe fit. We take food allergies very seriously, and for the safety of all students, our programs may not be suitable for everyone.
