Founder Pamela Capati Salamone grew up in a Filipino household where food meant comfort, celebration, and connection. Her culinary journey expanded through time spent in Chile and later through her husband Peppe, whose Sicilian roots brought a deep Italian influence into her kitchen. Pamela first founded Pancito Bakery in 2011, followed by Lunitas Empanadas in 2023, blending global flavors with heartfelt, home-style cooking. In 2025, her business was rebranded as Pamepeppe to reflect the fusion of her Filipino roots, her time spent in South America, and her husband’s Italian heritage.
Chef Pam is the owner of Pamepeppe and a Culinary Arts Instructor at a local high school, with a lifelong passion for teaching others how to cook. Long before opening her businesses or stepping into the classroom, she was sharing her love of food with her family—her niece, six nephews, and her two kids—right in her own kitchen. Through cooking together, she taught more than recipes; she shared creativity, confidence, and the joy of gathering around food.
Chef Pam believes that everyone—especially young people—can build confidence and connection in the kitchen. Her classes focus on the fundamentals of cooking and baking, empowering students with skills they can use at home. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, Pamepeppe classes are designed to be hands-on, welcoming, and full of the love that good food brings to the table.
